UAE government officials visited to Naver's headquarters

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] UAE government officials, including Prince Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, visited Naver '1784' office building in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do and experienced smart building technology.

Naver announced that High-ranking government officials from the United Arab Emirates including Prince Sheikh Sultan visited the Naver 1784 building on the 12th and toured the case of 'tech convergence', which combines advanced technologies such as robot, autonomous driving, cloud, digital twin and 5th generation (5G) mobile communication with space.

According to Naver, Prince Sheikh Sultan is the head of the Sharjah Digital Office, which oversees Sharjah's digital innovation and infrastructure construction. "The visit by the high-ranking Sharjah royal delegation was made in the process of pushing for a visit to experts and companies in related fields to explore the possibility of cooperation with South Korea regarding the establishment of national digital innovation and infrastructure being pursued by the Sharjah," Naver explained.

"The relationship between Naver and the United Arab Emirates began when Naver's Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) policy representative Chae Sun-joo accompanied the government's visiting delegation to the United Arab Emirates Republic in January," Naver said.
