[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kia made an announcement on the 18th that it will release the basic model of its brand's first flagship electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) "EV9" on the 19th and deliver vehicles to customers in turn.
The EV9 is the second model based on the electric vehicle platform 'E-GMP' and is the first three-row large-powered SUV in Korea.
The price of the EV9 basic model is ▷Air 2WD 73.37 million won, ▷Air 4WD 76.85 million won for ▷Earth 2WD 78.16 million won for ▷Earth 4WD 81.63 million won.
If Seoul customers purchase an air trim 2WD (19-inch wheel), it is expected that they will be able to purchase it at around 69.2 million won, considering 3.3 million won in state subsidies and local subsidies based on the calculation method.
The EV9 GT- line is scheduled to be released in the third quarter of this year, when major government department certification procedures are expected to be completed.
