[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] It has been confirmed that Samsung BioLogics and Lotte BioLogics have recently filed for an injunction against Lotte BioLogics amid conflicts over the removal of manpower and confidential leaks.

Samsung Bio has taken legal action against employees who have moved to Lotte Bio several times, but this is the first time that it has applied for an injunction against the company itself.

According to the industry on the 22nd, Samsung Bio filed an injunction against Lotte Bio and three employees who moved to the company. As a result, a hearing on the case was reportedly held behind closed doors at the Seoul Central District Court on the 21st, the previous day.

Samsung Bio has been taking legal action against employees who moved to Lotte Bio since last year.

First of all, Samsung Bio filed an injunction against the infringement of trade secrets against three people who moved to Lotte Bio last year, and was partially cited by the Incheon District Court in July last year.

In August and September of the same year, Samsung Bio filed a criminal complaint against four employees who moved to Lotte Bio. In March, the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office indicted one of them without physical detention on charges of violating the law on preventing unfair competition and protecting trade secrets and breach of trust at work.

The three people subject to the injunction this time, former employees and criminally accused employees are known to overlap.
