[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan will work with Vietnam's Haicheng to discover new business opportunities based on advanced electronic material manufacturing technology.
Doosan announced on June 25 that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hai Sheng in Hanoi, Vietnam for "cooperation in the field of electronic materials."
Under the agreement, Doosan will contribute to job creation and regional economic development by expanding its PFC (Patterned Flat Cable) production plant located in Hai Province, Vietnam, and reviewing additional investments in the future. Hijungsung plans to support tax benefits and other benefits to help Doosan's investment proceed smoothly.
Doosan established a Vietnamese corporation in 2020 and completed a plant for mass production of PFC in October 2022.
