[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Lim Joo-hyun, president of Hanmi Pharmaceutical, has been appointed head of the strategic planning office of Hanmi Science, the holding company of Hanmi Pharmaceutical Group.
It has been a year and four months since he resigned as an in-house director of Hanmi Science in March last year and stepped down from the management of the holding company.
President Lim Joo-hyun's influence is expected to grow further in the management of group companies in the future preparing for a 100-year corporate leap. However, Hanmi Pharmaceutical Group said that it was not related to succession.
Hanmi Science announced on the 10th that it has appointed Lim Joo-hyun as the new head of the Strategic Planning Office.
The Strategic Planning Office was newly established by Hanmi Science when it recruited Vice Chairman Bae Kyung-tae last year. It is a key department that plans the overall management strategy of the group company.
"Vice Chairman Bae Kyung-tae contributed to establishing the role and direction of the planning office as the first head of the strategic planning office," Hanmi Science said. "He will continue to play his role as vice chairman of the holding company and a global marketing expert."
