[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] LG has unveiled the ultra-massive multimodal (Multimodal) AI 'EXAONE 2.0', which has evolved to the next level.
We also improved the 'three major platforms' that were previously released by applying EXAONE 2.0. Universe, a language model-based platform, has been transformed into an interactive AI (artificial intelligence) platform and Discovery, a development platform, has also been embodied for the first time.
Starting with the release of the new version, LG plans to gradually increase the utilization of ex-employees in the professional industry. Previously, if it focused on industrial services, it is also preparing AI services for consumers around EXAONE 'Atelier', a multimodal AI platform.
On the 19th, the LG AI Institute held 'LG AI Talk Concert 2023' at Magok LG Science Park Convergence Hall in Gangseo-gu, Seoul and introduced EXAONE 2.0 for the first time. It has been about a year and seven months since EXAONE was first introduced in December 2021.
EXAONE 2.0 is characterized by improved performance by more than quadrupling the amount of learning data compared to existing models. I learned about 45 million professional documents and 350 million images, including patents and papers obtained through the partnership. In particular, this data is all based on AI ethical principles such as copyright and reliability.
