Due to the failure of the bio fund, Mirae Asset Venture was banned from participating in the government-funded project for one year

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Mirae Asset Venture Investment will not be able to participate in fund investment projects created by the government and state-run banks for a year.

The government has drawn up such sanctions against Mirae Asset Venture Investment, which was selected as a consignment operator of the K-Bio and Vaccine Fund promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and failed to form the fund.

According to the government and the investment banking (IB) industry on the 23rd, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has decided to restrict Mirae Asset Venture Investment from participating in government-run investment projects, including fund of funds, over the next year.

"We have tentatively decided to restrict the government's participation in fund-raising projects in Mirae Asset Ventures," a ministry official said. "State-run banks have also agreed to joint disciplinary action."
