[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] "If we move forward with the belief that the Troika drive will succeed together, we think we have a good chance of winning the global market," said Choi Yoon-beom, chairman of Korea Zinc.
At the "2023 KZ Ieum" town hall meeting held for the first time since its establishment at the annex of its headquarters in Nonhyeon, Gangnam, on the 21st, Chairman Choi said, "The troika drive management vision was created by considering and gathering businesses that Korea Zinc can do best in the future with its accumulated technology." Troika Drive is one of the three new growth engines announced by Korea Zinc at the end of 2021, including renewable and green hydrogen, resource circulation, and secondary battery material industries.
"In particular, in the case of renewable energy and green hydrogen businesses, we are laying the foundation for the development of hydrogen infrastructure through our subsidiary Arc Energy," he said. "We see the possibility of the construction of large-scale renewable energy generation facilities in Australia and the construction of plants that produce green hydrogen and green ammonia."
Choi Yoon-beom, chairman of Korea Zinc, and executives and employees attended the meeting.
"Belief in the direction and content of the project is important, but it is also important to self-doubt whether the current path is right or not," Chairman Choi said. "Self-trust and mid-term inspection seem to be opposite concepts, but I think they are important factors that make the business successful."
"In line with the title 'field of connection', I hope this time will serve as a positive trigger to continue the hearts of management and members in the future," he said.
