[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Another human accident occurred at the construction site of the new plant of CheonboBLS, an affiliate of Cheonbo's secondary battery material.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the industry on the 25th, two consecutive casualties occurred on the 12th at the CheonboBLS new plant located in Saemangeum Industrial Complex in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

First of all, at around 4 p.m., employee Park suffered an accident when his third left finger was torn and his finger bones were pressed while preparing for the installation of the LIFSI beam, and another employee Lee was caught in the salvage material while releasing the materials attached to the loading and unloading parts of the beam materials while loading and unloading the materials at 4:30 p.m.

In this regard, an official from the construction industry said, "If Cheonbo BLS mentioned the progress of the construction, the construction company may have been pressured to complete the construction in a hurry, and the accident may have been caused by excessive labor force."

The construction period is from August last year to December 31 this year. The process rate at the time of the accident was only 50-59%. In other words, half of the remaining construction should be completed in the remaining five months.

An official from Cheonbo said, "There is nothing to answer about this accident."

Earlier, CheonboBLS has apologized to the public for two gas leaks at its plant in Saemangeum Industrial Complex in Gunsan.
