According to a semi-annual report submitted by securities firms to the Financial Supervisory Service on the 11th, former chairman Kim received 2.89796 billion won in remuneration in the first half of this year. The amount adds KRW 465.67 million in salary, KRW 165.43 million in bonuses and KRW 2.26483 billion in severance pay.
Chung Il-moon, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities Co., who was the king of annual salary last year, received 2.859 billion won and fell to second place. This is a big difference from the same period last year (5.51826 billion won). At that time, CEO Chung's bier was 4.66446 billion won, which is about 2.2 billion won more than this year, but his salary is similar to that of a year ago.
