[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] An error occurred in the Toss Securities application that misrepresented an overseas stock as delisting.

This has led to confusion among mobile trading system (MTS) users.

According to Toss Securities on the 21st, Johnson & Johnson, a stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange, was misrepresented as delisted for about 50 minutes from 5 p.m.

This was found to have been a temporary failure caused by an error in the process of receiving information related to the stock from the outside. We are doing normal business now.

Toss Securities posted a notice of the error on its website on the same day and said it would compensate customers if they suffered damage.

"An error occurred in only one stock in question," a Toss Securities official said. "There has been little change in the price of the stock in question during the time of the error, so there has been no investor damage received so far."
