[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] IS Dongseo, a comprehensive construction, environment, and manufacturing company, will acquire BTS Technology, a European waste battery recycling company, to preoccupy the "EoLB" market.
IS Dongseo announced on the 25th that it has signed a stock trading contract with Poland's Osla to acquire BTS Technology at its plant on the 23rd.
BTS Technology, a recycling company established in 2016, has four corporations in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. The plant dedicated to preprocessing waste battery cells and modules will be completed and operated in Oswa region within this year.
This plant enables batch preprocessing of waste battery cells and modules that require more skilled technology than the secondary battery waste scrap preprocessing process at the existing European waste battery plant. It can handle about 50,000 electric vehicles (up to 100,000 units) annually.
