[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] E-Mart 24 announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement to enter Cambodia for the first time as a convenience store in Cambodia on the 24th.
The MOU was conducted under the E-Mart 24, SAISONS Brother Holding and Hanlim Architecture Group 3 agreements. In the future, SAISONS Group and Hanlim Group plan to establish a joint venture for the Cambodian convenience store business and sign the main contract with E-Mart 24.
SAISONS Group, a Cambodian local company, started its food and beverage business in Cambodia in 2010 and is currently expanding its business areas such as distribution, agriculture and construction.
Hanlim Architecture Group, which designed Skybay Hotel and State Tower Namsan, is a comprehensive real estate service company. Since 2017, it has opened a corporation in Cambodia and is striving to develop real estate in Southeast Asia.
In March this year, Hanlim Architecture Group joined hands with SAISONS Group to establish 'Hallym Cambodia HSGLOBAL' for real estate services and real estate development.
In the future, E-Mart 24 will sign a master franchise agreement with a joint venture between SAISONS Group and Hanlim Group and open its first store in the first half of next year.
The goal is to gradually expand to 100 stores within five years in line with the local situation in Cambodia, the early days of the convenience store business.
