[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Prosecutors investigating the alleged embezzlement of BNK Kyongnam Bank have begun to secure recruits for securities firm employees who colluded in the case.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has requested an arrest warrant for a 52-year-old securities firm employee, identified only by his surname Hwang, on charges of embezzlement and other charges.

Hwang is accused of colluding with Lee, head of Kyongnam Bank's investment and finance department, to arbitrarily write a withdrawal slip needed to withdraw PF loans and embezzle 61.7 billion won.

He is also suspected of having his acquaintance format Lee's PC after the FSS investigation began to instigate the destruction of evidence.

Lee was arrested on the 24th on charges of embezzling about 40.4 billion won, including a PF loan from Kyongnam Bank, and prosecutors believe the amount of embezzlement is up to 100 billion won.
