Yang Jong-hee and Huh In were recommended as internal personnel, while Kim Byung-ho, chairman of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City Development Bank (former vice chairman of Hana Financial Group), was recommended as external personnel.

KB Financial Group Chairman Candidate Recommendation Committee (Chairman Recommendation Committee) announced on the 29th that it interviewed six candidates for the next presidential candidate shortlist (shortlist) and narrowed down the shortlist to three.

The four internal figures on the first list are three vice chairmen of KB Financial Group, Yang Jong-hee, Lee Dong-chul and Huh In, and Park Jung-rim, head of the general division (CEO of KB Securities).

Two outside figures were not disclosed at the request of the parties. KB Financial Group explained that if these candidates are included in the second short list, external personnel will also be disclosed.

The three compressed short lists are Sung Myung-soon (Gada), chairman of Vietnam's HD Bank, Kim Byung-ho, vice chairman of KB Financial Group, Yang Jong-hee, and Huh In, vice chairman of KB Financial Group.

KB Financial Group will conduct an in-depth interview (second round) with three compressed people on the 8th of next month and finalize the final candidate.
