[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Daewoo Industrial Development Co., known as the apartment brand "iaan," has entered the rehabilitation process. Daewoo Industrial Development Co. was established in 2011 by the construction division of Daewoo Motor Sales Co. and is the 75th-largest construction company in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's construction capacity evaluation this year.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 10th, Daewoo Industrial Development announced that the Seoul Rehabilitation Court decided to start the rehabilitation process on the 7th. The planned rehabilitation plan is due on January 16 next year. Daewoo Industrial Development is known to have overdue payment due to financial difficulties.
Meanwhile, HN INC, Daechang Company, and Shinil have entered the rehabilitation process this year, and Daewoo Industrial Development is also under court receivership, raising concerns over the bankruptcy of mid-sized construction companies.
