[Exclusive] Amore Pacific’s eldest daughter Seo Min-jeong stepped down from all her titles and responsibilities because of marriage

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jong-hyo] The sudden leave of absence of AmorePacific Seo Min-jung was belatedly confirmed to be due to marriage.

According to the Alpha Biz report on the 5th, it was confirmed that the sudden submission of leave by the Division AP team of Amorecepic luxury brand Seo Min-jung, the eldest daughter of AmorePacific Chairman Seo Kyung-bae, was due to marriage problems.

It has been confirmed that the other party, who is planning to marry Seo Min-jung, is Eun Hyun-bin, CEO of Deleo, a global logistics and blockchain logistics company.

Deleo, led by CEO Eun, has Kolon Group Honorary Chairman Lee Woong-yeol as its second largest shareholder and is jointly planning and operating logistics delivery platform "Izigo" with Kakao and others.

 


 

An official who is well aware of the marriage issue between Seo Min-jung and CEO Eun told Alpha Biz. "The marriage is expected to be officially announced soon."

Seo Min-jung, who recently took a leave of absence, joined AmorePacific as an employee in January 2017 and completed an MBA in China.

In October 2019, he returned as a professional (manager) of AmorePacific's beauty sales strategy team and moved to AmorePacific Group's strategy office in February 2021. In January of the following year, he was in charge of the Division AP team of Amore Property Luxury Brand.

Seo Min-jung has been selected as a candidate for AmorePacific Group management succession.

AmorePacific's public relations office said, "I don't know the privacy of the owner's family," adding, "It's news to me that Seo's leave of absence is due to marriage issues."
