[Alpha Biz= Reporter Lee Joon-hyun] E-Mart, E-Mart 24, and E-Mart Everyday will be combined into one corporation.

According to Alpha Biz coverage on the 4th, Shinsegae Group has virtually decided to merge E-Mart, E-Mart 24, and E-Mart Everyday corporation into one.

High ranking officer at Shihsegae who is familiar with the matter told Alpha Biz, "The key to this regular personnel appointment is the completion of the integrated representative system of the three companies. Although no specific schedule has been released, I understand that the integration of the three companies is scheduled to be fully confirmed at next year’s shareholders’ meeting.”

Shinsegae Group appointed a new CEO of Chosun Hotels & Resorts as CEO of E-Mart on the 20th, and converted its E-Mart-affiliated offline distribution business groups such as E-Mart, E-Mart Everyday, and E-Mart 24 into the "ONE" representative system.

The goal is to reduce costs and improve profitability by combining similar business groups and starting integrated sourcing to create synergy effects.

The representative lawyer of the law firm, Lee Hyun-kwon, said, "Although there will be no major differences in the integration of the three corporations, internal coordination of the organizational culture, including the labor unions of the three companies, seems to be the most important issue."

Shinsegae E-Mart's public relations office replied, "The integration of the three companies has not been confirmed, but only the sole representative system has been set."
