Namgoong, who is currently a full-time advisor to the Kakao Future Initiative Center, has been working as a visiting professor at his alma mater, Sogang University, since last month.

"We are also preparing to establish a scholarship foundation for another practice of our mind about education," former CEO Namgoong said. "I will set up a scholarship foundation with gratitude for the benefits I have received from society and continue to give back to society."

"I think the future of the AI era can be classified into information-oriented AI and entertainment content-type AI," he said. "I last thought of retirement and the new era filled me with the desire to challenge myself."

"We believe that Korea has great competitiveness in the entertainment content AI area, and the competitiveness of the music, video and game industries, which have grown individually, will meet AI in this era and explode," he said.
