[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The opening of "G-Star 2023," the nation's largest game show, is about a month away.
According to the game industry on the 17th, G-Star 2023 is scheduled to be held at BEXCO in Busan on November 16∼19. WeMade, who has been the main sponsor for two consecutive years since last year, will demonstrate 'Legend of Mir' at this G-Star.
NCsoft has confirmed its participation in G-Star early on and is busy preparing for the exhibition. Although the entries have not been released yet, the industry expects to release not only 'Throne and Liberty (TL)' but also 'Blade and Soul S' and 'Battle Crush'. Prior to G-Star, NCsoft plans to hold a preliminary demonstration of G-Star 2023 entries at the NCsoft Pangyo Research and Development (R&D) Center in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on the 10th of next month.
Prior to G-Star, Netmarble will also hold a demonstration of three G-Star 2023 entries at G-Tower in Guro-gu, Seoul, on the 9th of next month and unveil the entries.
Nexon, on the other hand, has decided not to attend G-Star this year. As a result, the simultaneous participation of "3N" in the game industry such as Nexon, NCsoft and Netmarble failed, but Crafton, Smilegate RPG, Epic Games, Webzen and Gravity will participate in G-Star to honor the event.
Star developers, who created Smilegate's popular RPG "Lost Ark" and Japan's famous horror action game series "Biohazard," will give lectures as keynote speakers at the G-Star Conference (G-CON).
