[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] It was confirmed that clothing products with falsified manufacturing dates were sold in large quantities at a famous domestic home shopping mall.

According to the distribution industry on the 23rd, Hyundai Home Shopping sold more than 3,300 sets of blouse products through broadcasting and online shopping malls from the 22nd of last month to the 6th of this month.

Three blouses were sold for 40,000∼50,000 won after a discount process in the middle of a set, totaling 150 million won.

It was indicated that this product was produced in July this year, but it was actually identified as a product produced in 2021.

Company B produced this product in April ∼ May of the same year, but it was reported that the delivery date was not met and some products were defective.

It did not exceed the standard for certain items in the screening by the Korea Apparel Testing Institute, which must be passed before clothing sales.

In the end, the delivery contract was canceled.

More than two years later, the product appeared on Hyundai Home Shopping, disguised as a product produced this year.

In fact, some products shipped through home shopping reportedly have traces of removing the original labels and attaching new labels.

Hyundai Home Shopping explained that the sale was suspended on the 6th of this month due to problems regarding the product were raised, and said it is giving refunds to customers who purchased the product in question.

However, it was found that the customer had a problem with the product and that the return or refund was possible only after the report began on the 20th.
