SK Hynix recently announced on the 26th that it has acquired the industry's first certification that LPDDR5T can be applied to Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8th generation mobile platform.
LPDDR is a DRAM standard for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Focus on minimizing power consumption It turns out that the standard name is attached with low power (LP). LPDDR5T is the first product developed by SK Hynix and features an upgrade to the latest standard, the 7th generation product (LPDDR5T).
SK Hynix completed the development of LPDDR5T in January and verified compatibility with Qualcomm, a partner company. This has resulted in both products performing well on smartphones that combine LPDDR5T and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8's third-generation mobile platform.
