[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LGU+ will develop communication-customized AI 'ixi-GEN' by utilizing its own communication and platform data and artificial intelligence (AI) technology capabilities.
According to LGU+ on the 30th, ixi-GEN is a name made by combining AI integrated brand 'ixi' launched last year and Generative AI (Generative AI). It is a large language model (LLM) that learns communication and platform data of LG U+ based on the original AI source of super-large AI 'Employee' of LG AI Research Institute.
Unlike general-purpose LLMs, ixi-GEN provides services specialized in telecommunications. The company plans to launch the Exigen service in the first half of next year and apply it to customer services and platforms such as 'Nugget' and IPTV in the form of chatbot.
LGU+ plans to strengthen its competitiveness through a super-large AI 3 strategy in cooperation with Google and Microsoft's AI. It also uses super-large AI to expand its business-to-business (B2B) business.
