[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] POSCO International will supply Lotte Energy Materials with 6 trillion won worth of copper foil for 10 years. It is the largest single supply contract for secondary battery materials signed by POSCO International.
POSCO International signed a "MOU" with Lotte Energy Materials at Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil-dong, Seoul on the 1st. Under this agreement, POSCO International will supply 600,000 tons of raw materials for high-quality copper foil production to Lotte Energy Materials for 10 years until 2033.
It is a method of processing some raw materials beyond the simple supply of raw materials. The company expects the expected sales to reach 6 trillion won. POSCO International has announced three agreements to invest and supply graphite mines in Africa this year.
