[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Home Shopping's third-quarter operating profit fell sharply compared to last year due to falling ratings and a consequent contraction in consumption.
Hyundai Home Shopping made an announcement on the 6th that its third-quarter sales fell 5.1％ year-on-year to 505.1 billion won and operating profit fell 43.7％ to 16.8 billion won.
Looking at home shopping alone, sales in the third quarter fell 7.4％ to 255.1 billion won from last year and operating profit fell 68.2％ to 9.3 billion won.
