Heerim signed a master plan contract for ‘Malaysia Kota Kinabalu Sports City’

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The architectural firm Heelim Architects' Office announced on the 8th that it has been agreed as a designer of the Kota Kinabalu Sports City development project in Sabah, Malaysia, and has signed a service contract for the first stage of the master plan.


According to the company, the project is being carried out by Malaysia's Jelita Decor. It is a project to develop a multi-purpose arena, indoor race track, rugby field, archery field, futsal field, recreation field and six high-rise residential complex on 552,395㎡ of land in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

The total construction cost is worth about 1.4 trillion won and will be completed in 2028 in a Fast Track method in which infrastructure construction will begin in January next year and design and construction will be carried out at the same time.
