[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] LS Electric Chairman Koo Ja-kyun was summarily indicted for driving at a speed of more than 160 kilometers per hour on the Olympic Boulevard in Seoul.

According to legal circles on the 8th, the Criminal Affairs Department 2 (Chief Prosecutor Heo Seong-hwan) of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office summarily indicted Chairman Koo for violating the Road Traffic Act with a fine of 300,000 won on the 24th of last month.

On Nov. 9 last year, Koo drove his own Ferrari to 167 kilometers on the Olympic Boulevard at 80 kilometers per hour The crackdown camera caught me.

Under the Road Traffic Act, those who exceed the speed limit of 80 kilometers will be subject to criminal punishment for fines of up to 300,000 won or detention, not just fines or fines.

The police notified Koo, the owner of Ferrari, to appear for questioning, but the manager, identified only by his surname Kim, visited the police station on Dec. 23 and drove his car.

However, in the second police investigation earlier this year, Kim reversed his statement, saying he did not drive.

Chairman Koo later appeared at the police station in late March and admitted speeding, saying he drove the vehicle.

At the time, LS Electric said there was no order from the company, including Koo's order, for Kim's actions.
