[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Yoo In-chon met with Hotel Shilla CEO Lee Boo-jin, chairman of the Visit Korea Sea Committee, to discuss tourism strategies. With international tourism recovering after the COVID-19 incident, the move is aimed at turning the high awareness of K-culture into demand for visiting Korea.
Minister Yoo held a meeting at "Seolwhasoo's House" in Bukchon on the 13th with Chairman Lee and other tourism, beauty, fashion and K-pop dance officials to discuss tourism strategies.
The meeting was attended by Minister Yoo and Chairman Lee, Director of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Jong-taek, CEO of AmorePacific Kim Seung-hwan, CEO of Creative Trip Lim Hye-mi, Executive Director of Jenny House Jung Eun-jin, CEO of One Million Yoon Yeo-wook and Director of View Plastic Surgery Park Jung-hyun.
"Looking at those who are working hard in the field today, it is definitely a moment to realize how much the spectrum of the tourism industry is expanding," Chairman Lee said. "I deeply thank them for their efforts to develop the Korean tourism industry."
