[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Food company Ottogi announced on the 28th that it has hired Kim Kyung-ho, former vice president of LG Electronics, as the head of its global business division (vice president). Kim is the in-law of Ottogi Chairman Ham Young-joon, the father-in-law of musical actor Ham Yeon-ji, the eldest daughter of Ham.
Ottogi explained that the recruitment of former Vice President Kim Kyung-ho is aimed at expanding his presence in overseas markets.
Kim Kyung-ho graduated from Seoul National University's Department of International Economics and received a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from KAIST. Working in the consulting industry, he served as the head of Accenture Taiwan and vice president of LG Electronics Business Solutions (BS) Europe.
Ham Yoon-sik, the son of Chairman Ham Young-joon, joined Ottogi in 2021 and is currently working as a deputy head of the management division. Kim Jae-woo, the husband of her eldest daughter Ham Yeon-ji, joined Ottogi in 2018, took a leave of absence and is currently studying in the U.S. Ham Yeon-ji also recently moved to Los Angeles (LA) with her husband.
