[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Golfzon recently completed an emergency recovery for Golfzon service failures and emphasized the prevention of recurrence. Golfzon announced on the 28th that it has normalized services such as accessing the Golfzone app and booking stores.
The Golfzon has had problems with services such as Golfzon apps, web and reservations due to service access failures caused by malicious ransomware attacks on the 23rd.
"We have put all our available capabilities into the company during the service failure recovery period," Golfzon said. "Major Golfzon services are currently operating normally." Some of the server disks were damaged by the ransomware attack, and it took some time to recover as the server was inevitably replaced to normalize it.
The Golfzon stressed that it will make strenuous efforts to prevent the same thing from happening by expanding investment in information protection, checking vulnerabilities through external security experts and strengthening cyber security to prevent recurrence in the future.
