[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Mgame (CEO Kwon Yi-hyung) announced on the 13th that it decided to pay cash dividends for the first time since its foundation as part of its shareholder return policy.
The amount of cash dividend is 150 won per common stock and a total of 2.9 billion won. The number of dividend shares is 19,113,129 shares, excluding 430,748 shares of equity shares from the total number of 19,543,877 shares issued. Mgame will hold a regular shareholders' meeting in March and approve the dividend plan.
M-Game has been growing since 2019, with its flagship works "Fiery Power Online" and "Night Online" continuing to gain popularity in China, North America and Europe, respectively.
Last year, the company achieved the largest sales ever, recording consolidated sales of 73.4 billion won, operating profit of 30 billion won, and net profit of 22.7 billion won. This year, the company also recorded cumulative sales of 56 billion won in the third quarter, up 26.8% from the same period last year, which was the highest ever.
