[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The first interrogation of an application for suspension of execution filed by NH Investment & Securities CEO Chung Young-chae, who was punished for the Optimus scandal, was held.

According to legal circles on the 28th, the Seoul Administrative Court Administration Department 14 (Deputy Judge Song Gak-yeop) held the first interrogation date for Chung's application for suspension of execution against the Financial Services Commission at 2 p.m. The questioning was conducted in a closed-door interrogation in which only the parties attended.

Earlier, CEO Chung received a reprimand warning from the Financial Services Commission in connection with the sale of the Optimus Fund, where a massive redemption suspension took place, and filed a lawsuit for the cancellation of the reprimand warning and an application for suspension of execution on the 11th to cancel the disciplinary action.

The court will decide whether to cite the application for suspension of execution after listening to the opinions of the applicant and the respondent during the interrogation.

Meanwhile, Park Jung-lim, head of KB Securities, who previously received a three-month suspension from the Financial Services Commission due to the Lime Fund scandal, received a disciplinary suspension for a lawsuit to cancel the suspension of his duties through an administrative suit.
