[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] E-Mart announced on the 29th that it would take action to recall two types of Moncler padding sold at Traders Wholesale Club, a warehouse-type discount store, after confirming suspicions that they were counterfeit products.
The products to be recalled are women's padding and men's padding sold at six Traders stores (Hanam, Goyang, Guseong, Songlim, Wirye and Suwon) from October 22 last year to the 15th this month.
Traders has been supplying inventory products distributed overseas from suppliers specializing in parallel imports and selling them after checking documents on overseas distribution channels and formal customs clearance.
However, during the product sales process, a quality defect occurred, and while the cause was being investigated, suspicions of counterfeit products were discovered in some products, so the company decided to immediately stop selling and recall the products.
A total of 30 products have been sold so far. Traders will contact the purchasing customer individually to inform them of the product recovery and refund it in full.
